Day 1
Welcome to Boston! When all students have arrived, we will have dinner in the city.
Day 2
Take a guided sightseeing tour of Boston and Cambridge on the famous Boston Freedom Trail. You’ll see the U.S.S. Constitution – the world’s oldest commissioned warship, along with other places of historic importance. After the tour, enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the city from the 50th floor of the Prudential Building.
Day 3
Your trip continues to the Big Apple – New York City. Tour Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Trump Tower and Central Park. Gaze down at the city that never sleeps from high atop the Empire State Building, an enduring symbol of New York.
Day 4
Discover New York on a guided tour of the city. Start with Wall Street in the Financial District. Pass the United Nations building, an official “international zone,” trendy So-Ho and bohemian Greenwich Village. Continue through Chinatown and Little Italy. Afterwards, eat dinner at the famous Hard Rock Café.
Day 5
Marvel at America’s symbol of freedom, the Statue of Liberty, crowning Upper New York Bay since 1886. Visit Ellis Island, America’s busiest immigration center from 1892 to 1924. Wrap up the day with a tour of the NBC studio.
Day 6
Travel to Washington D.C., the nation’s capital. Explore air and space, natural history or art in the various Smithsonian Museums. At night, see how the city lights up on a bus tour that includes the Lincoln and Vietnam Veterans Memorials, the Supreme Court and Arlington National Cemetery.
Day 7-8
A guided tour of Washington will include the Iwo Jima Memorial, Arlington National Cemetery, the Washington Monument and the White House. On Day 8, depart for home.
